Eldorado Scioto Downs has written a non-winners of two or $15,000 life harness racing series for 3-5-year-olds to follow the successful non-winners of one series that concludes Monday (May 31). The entry fee is $100 if starting the first week; for horses entering the series the second week, the entry fee is $200.
The Richard Brandt Trot for fillies and mares kicks things off on Thursday (June 3). The box for Thursday closes on Monday (May 31) at a special time of 2:00 p.m. (instead of the normal 10:00 a.m.).
The Dr. Al Gabel Trot for colts and geldings and the Skip Hoovler Pace for fillies and mares both start on Friday (June 4). The box for Friday closes on Tuesday (June 1) at a special time of 10:00 a.m. (instead of the normal 2:00 p.m.). The Darryl Sherman Pace for colt and geldings will start on Wednesday, June 9.
The legs for each division will go for $9,500 and the finals are set for $14,500 added. Each series will go for three consecutive weeks except for the Al Gabel Trot which will take a week off because of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 3-year-old trotters on Friday (June 11).
