Parade of WA Yearling Sale yearlings

On Wednesday 11th February, rising star WA breeder Kody Charles will parade 20 harness racing yearlings that are entered in the upcoming Gloucester Standardbreds WA Yearling Sale which will get under way on Sunday 22nd February at 1:00pm.

The parade will get under way at 5:00pm at Kody’s property at 324 River Road, Hopelands and will feature colts and fillies by a range of the nation’s best sires.

Somebeachsomewhere, sire of Saturday night’s brilliant Victoria Derby winner Menin Gate, will be represented by two fillies and two colts and other sires whose progeny will be paraded include Rocknroll Hanover, Bettor's Delight, Art Major, Sportswriter, Well Said, Village Jolt, Rock N Roll Heaven, Courage Under Fire, Four Starzzz Shark and Always A Virgin.

The yearlings include the likes of the second foal from 2yo Australian Pacing Gold winner Leilani Lombo 2:00.5 $224,595, the first foal from Flylika Bird Lombo 1:59.8 $53,975 (a half-sister to Australian 2yo Pacer of the Year Lombo Skyrider) and a half-sister to this season’s Christmas Gift winnerTuxedo Tour 1:56.6 $149,001 and Truckers Ruffnut 1:56.0 $249,770.

The 20 yearlings are catalogued on account of KTC Bloodstock and KTC Bloodstock as agent for K & A Charles.
