Columbus, MN – Harness racing driver Brady Jenson was the star of the show at Running Aces on Thursday (August 25), posting five driving wins including a sharp drive in the feature race of the night.
Jenson posted a natural Hat-Trick in races four, five and six on the program which began with a sharp gate-to-wire steer on race-favorite Fox River Luke (Lukas Hall, 1:58.1, $4.20) for trainer Amos Hines in a $7,100 conditioned pace.
Next, Jenson piloted his own pacer Sneaky Hill (Racing Hill, $6.20) to his fourth straight win in a career best 1:53.3 to take an $11,800 conditioned event.
He then posted an impressive effort aboard Lovin On You (Easy Again) in the featured $19,800 Minnesota-sired sophomore ‘A’ pace for owner Jay De Long and trainer Justin Anfinson. It was the second win of the season and a new mark of 1:54.1 for Lovin On You.

Jenson topped off his big night by sweeping the daily double in the final two contests on the card, posting a big closing effort with Lickcreek Speedway (Sand Shooter, $15.00) in 1:55.1 in a $12,000 conditioned pace for trainer Emilio Cisneros and then going gate-to-wire from post nine as the favorite with Sweetshadyshark (Shadyshark Hanover, $4.20) in a $7,200 event for trainer Angie Coleman.
I’m A Skoldier (Wind Me Up, $3.00) and driver Mooney Svendsen made it 5-in-a-row to take the $16,500 freshman boys pace in 1:56.1 over Polar Storm (Chip Lackey) and King Of Aces (Luke Plano). The winner is owned by Van Otterloo Stables and trained by Bob Lems.
Wavzeka (Art’s Chip, $44.60) and driver Rick Magee posted an impressive gate-to-wire score from post seven in the $16,500 freshman filly pace in a career best 1:59.2 for owner Jay De Long and trainer Justin Anfinson. Quite The Flirt (Plano) was home second and Stevies Girl (Svendsen) checked in third.
Antetokounmpo (Easy Again, Rick Magee) delivered as the heavy favorite in the $13,200 sophomore ‘B’ pace with a half-length score in 1:56.1 over SB Prince Archie (Lackey) and Park With Me Nancy (Jenson). Magee is also the winning owner and trainer.
