Cokstile wins two heats of 156,200€ Campionato Europeo

Cokstile (9m Quite Easy-Classical Stile-Crown Sweep) took his elimination and the finale race-off to secure harness racing victory of the Campionato Europeo 2022 at the Savio Racecourse 800 meter track in Italy.

Vincenzo P. Dell’Annunziata teamed the winner to a decisive 1.11.1 victory in the raceoff (purse 156,200€, 1660 meters autostart) as he raced alongside pacesetter Usain Toll (6g Googoo Gaagaa-Cotton Waste-Smok’n Lantern) before putting that Carmine Piscuoglio teamed trotter away on the final bend.

Usain Toll won the first heat (purse 15,400€, 1660 meters autostart) in 1.12.2kr from post one as he defeated Cokstile from post nine and third finishing Global Trustworthy (9m Muscle Hill-Trophy Stand-Garland Lobell) and pilot Antonio Di Nardo. Zacon Gio and Deimos Racing followed the top three in this heat.

Cokstile took heat two from post four timed in 1.11.6 parked throughout. Zacon Gio (7m Ruty Grif-May Glade Font SM) held second with Roberto Vecchione up and Generaal Bianco (9g Ufo Kievitshof-Zaskia Fortuna-Coktail Jet) took third for Mass Castaldo.

Chief Orlando and Global Trustworthy finished fourth and fifth. Usain Toll was sixth from post 12 in this heat.
