11th Race $300,000 OSS Final 3-Year-Old Pacing Colts
Little Brown Jug winner Bythemissal (Downbytheseaside) had to work a little but still came away with an easy three length triumph for driver Chris Page.
It was Sling Shock and driver Brett Miller who was the quickest out of the starting gate with Rose Run Xiled (Dan Noble) grabbing the pocket-seat to the first quarter in :27. They raced pretty much single file to the half in :55.3 and that was when the 1/9 race favorite Bythemissal came first-over with Terminator (Yannick Gingras) following second-over.
Down the backstretch was when Rose Run Xiled and Noble pulled the pocket-seat to come first-over with Bythemissal second-over at the three-quarters in 1:23.2. But Page had too much momentum with Bythemissal and tipped out three-wide on the final turn.
Just as they straighten out for the stretch drive, Bythemissal took the lead and then extended it to a three length triumph in 1:52.1 with Terminator second and Rose Run Xiled third.
For Bythemissal, it was his fourth straight win and 11th victory in just 13 starts this year (the other two were second place finishes). He is trained by Ron Burke for Burke Racing Stables, E. Good, Rich Lombardo Racing and Weaver Bruscemi. He paid just $2.10 to win and was bred by Stephen Dey III.

7th race $300,000 OSS 3-Year-Old Filly Pace Final
Sent off as the overwhelming 1/9 race favorite, Sea Silk (Downsbytheseaside) raced just like her odds for driver Chris Page.
Getting away second behind Allnight Micki (Aaron Merriman) after the start, Page waited until the first quarter in :27.3 to put Sea Silk on the lead for good. By the half mile in :56, Prancing Queen (Brett Miller) was first-over challenging with Do It Like Bobbi (Tony Hall) second over.
They raced down the backstretch to the three-quarters in 1:24.1 when Hall took Do It Like Bobbi three-wide and they cleared by the top of the stretch, but Page already had Sea Silk in fifth gear as she strolled home to win by three lengths in 1:52.4. Do It Like Bobbi was second with Twenty (David Miller) finishing third.
For Sea Silk it was her seventh win this year and she has won four of her last five starts for trainer Ron Burke. She is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Knox Services and Hatfield Stables and paid just $2.10 to win. Sea Silk was bred by Steiner Stock Farm.

6th Race $300,000 OSS 3-Year-Old Filly Trot Final
Gabbys C Note (Triumphant Caviar) became the second Ohio Triple Crown Champion of the night as the 1/5 favorite led from start to finish in her OSS Championship bout.
Leaving from post three for driver Aaron Merriman, Gabbys C Note led the field to the first quarter in :28 with Kirsi Dream (Chris Lems) sitting the pocket seat and no one willing as of yet to challenge on the outside.
To the half mile in :57, Gabbys C Note led the way as Favorite Aunt (Brett Miller) came first-over with Criquette Hall (Chris Page) second-over.
Favorite Aunt was able to drop into the two-hole at the three-quarters in 1:25.2 as Criquette Hall was left first-over, but she was determined and started to come after Gabbys C Note around the final turn and heading for home.
As they came down the stretch, Gabbys C Note was comfortable on the lead for Merriman but as they approached the wire, Criquette Hall kept on coming to be second by a half a length in 1:55.3. Favorite Aunt held for third place.
Not only was it an OSS Triple Crown victory for Gabbys C Note, but it was also the fillyās seventh straight win and 10th of the season, 15 lifetime wins in just 19 starts. Longshot (Long Tom) was able to bring an end to the four-race win streak of Rose Run Xtra when it really counted, in the $300,000 OSS Final.
Caviar Gold and driver Aaron Merriman were first on the lead and by three lengths to the first quarter in :27.3. Rose Run Xtra (Chris Page) was second and Longshot (Chris Lems) back in third.
After the half mile in :56.4 and some of the trailing horses now catching up, Lems moved first-over with Longshot in the backstretch and was in second on the outside at the three-quarters in 1:25.2.
Around the final turn it was a two-horse race between Longshot on the outside and Caviar Gold on the inside and Rose Run Xtra a fading third.
It wasnāt until approaching the wire that Longshot kicked in a little more and went on to beat Caviar Gold by one and three-quarter lengths in 1:54.2. Rose Run Xtra held for third.
For the gelding Longshot it was his eighth win this season. He has won five of his last six starts for trainer Scott Cox and owners Wayne Mast, Jr. and Callam Racing, LLC. Longshot was bred by Perry Coblentz and despite his name, paid $5.20 to win.

More The Merrier (Aaron Merriman) pulled away from the field at the start of the race, leading by six lengths at the opening quarter mile in :26.3. With Cruise Alert (Ronnie Wrenn, Jr) sitting a gapping second, More The Merrier kept up her big lead past the half mile in :54.2.
Fear Of Sports (Tyler Smith) started up first-over in the backstretch as More The Merrier began to slow up at the three-quarters in 1:22.4 as the rest of the field began to catch up to her. That included McSeaside and Page, who swept three-wide on the final turn to confront both More The Merrier and Cruise Alert.
As they came down the stretch, McSeaside had all the momentum and was able to pull away at the wire to win by two open lengths in 1:53.4. Cruise Alert was second with More The Merrier third.

Race favorite Act Fast and driver Chris Page may have cut all the fractions, but it was Rockmelikeyameanit (McArdle) and driver Brett Miller who sat the perfect pocket trip and then came on in the stretch to win the final.
Act Fast cut the mile with fractions of :27.3, :57 and 1:24.3. Racing Rampage (Aaron Merriman) came first-over before the half mile with Burnout (Trevor Smith) following the outside flow.
On the final turn Burnout and Boardwalk Jack (Josh Sutton) were three and four-wide on the turn for home but it was Miller and Rockmelikeyameanit who ducked to the inside in the stretch as Act Fast was bearing out and came on to win by a half a length in 1:53.2 over Surfside Beach (Ronnie Wrenn, Jr.).
