Winbak Farm of MD seeks foaling manager

Winbak Farm of Maryland seeks a harness racing foaling manager in its Chesapeake City, MD location. Chesapeake City is about an hour south of Philadelphia and north of Baltimore.

• Job Responsibilities:
  Help manage the foaling of close to 300 mares from January-July –
  Coordinate with the broodmare manager and farm veterinarian in determining when to move horses to and from the foaling barn –
  Assess health of broodmares and foals –
  Administer treatments in coordination with the farm vet –
  Keep accurate foaling, health, and movement records –
  Assist when needed in problem deliveries – Be available to live on the farm if an emergency arises
  Job Skills:
  – Must have foaling experience – Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
