Gently de Muze (6m Perlando-Obade Marceerie) took the Gr, II Finale Grand National du Trot Paris Turf (purse 150,000£, 2850 meters distance handicap) at Paris Vincennes on Sunday, December 4, clocked in 1.13.3kr.
Trainer Jean Michel Bazire was the driver for owner Yannick Desmet as the winner recorded his 14th career victory now for 389,800£ earned. Bazire was sixth with 1300 meters to go and then brushed to the front and won by two lengths at 1.2/1 odds.
The 6.2/1 Goeland d’Haufor (6g Voltigeur de Myrt) rallied for second with Ch. J. Bigeon up for breeder/owner/trainer Christian Bigeon. Edy du Pommereux (8g Niky) was third at 6.5/1 odds with David Bekaert up for trainer Sylvain Roger.
This race has been a successful one for JMB as he has won it with Aubrion du Gers, Bel Avis, Ble du Gers, Cleangame (twice), Elie de Beaufour and now Gently de Muze.
