Kittie Cat (Sportswriter) crossed the line better than third for the first time since September with a career-best harness racing performance to win at Fraser Downs on Friday (Mar. 3).
The four-year-old was pedal-to-the-metal from the start, taking the lead in a :27 opening quarter. Allan Molloy rated the mare to :55.4 and 1:24 middle panels while extending the lead to five lengths, and the pair cruised to a 1:54.3 victory. Chaseminkifyoudare (Kelly Hoerdt) reduced the gap to two-and-a-quarter lengths in finishing second. Mr Glender (Scott Knight) was further back in third.
