Goodmorning Nova (Arthur Blue Chip) has been superb in her rookie campaign and has rail control for the team of driver Gilles Barrieau, trainer Dwane MacEachern and owners Melissa Banks and Jason Williams. Chip Of Evil (Arthur Blue Chip) is another top contender after she had her streak snapped at six wins, finishing second to High Roller in a track record performance her last start.
The Post Time Picks think Chip Of Evil can overcome her foe from post 6.
“Chip Of Evil She saw her win streak halted at six but all good things come to an end. Slides out to post six and those closing panels are impressive so don’t be shocked if she gets the gold.”
Howmac General is favoured in the race 3 two-year-old pacing colt consolation for driver David Dowling, trainer Earl Watts and owners Windemere Farms, Hollis Newcon, Debbie Denney and Jerry MacKinnon.
Race 5 is the $7,500 three-year-old pacing filly consolation and Rosetown Mary will look to build on her recent success from post 7 for trainer-driver Corey MacPherson and owners Kerry and Emily Taylor, Lisa Richards and Taylor MacPherson.
