Waikouaiti trainer Amber Hoffman heads south tomorrow with a string of runners for the Winton Harness Racing Club’s meeting at the Central Southland Raceway.
Petite Trixton (Trixton) and Makaku (Majestic Son) lines up for Hoffman in Race Six.
Petite Trixton was a winner two starts ago but at her last start she broke turning in.
Makaku has shown a tendency to break at the start of his races so he’s going to carry some risk.
In Race Seven Kada (Bettor’s Delight) takes her place in an R35-R45 race and gets a nice draw at three to help her cause.
Jovial Joy (Sweet Lou) has been through a number of stables, recording three wins from just nineteen starts. Last winning on this track in March 2023, this will be the five year old’s first start for his new stable.
Trotter Switch On (Bacardi Lindy) was an impressive winner at his last start on this track. He’s a good beginner so the twenty metre handicap shouldn’t be a worry.
The stable has two runners in the last race – Ultimate Challenge (Bettor’s Delight) and Micaitlen Denario (Captaintreacherous).
Ultimate Challenge was a close fourth behind Franco Sailor at the Kurow meeting and gets a nice draw to play with.
Micaitlen Denario is having her first start for the stable and goes into the 2400 metre mobile with no trial form.
