On the undercard two year olds battled in the Prix Geminus (purse 43,000€, 2200 meters, eight two year olds) with victory to 4/10 odds favorite Maestro River (2m Galius-Viva Saint Paul) that remained undefeated now in three starts for 41,850€ earned.
Eric Raffin teamed this Sebastien Guarato trainee that Gerard Manzi owns and bred. The 8.5/1 Mystic Sonato (2m Village Mystic-Sonate de Bomo) was second with Franck Nivard driving the Antoine De Vaugiraud trainee for Tanguy de la Bourdonneye.
Memphis de Brasse (2m Gotland-Europa Madrik) was third at 9/1 with Francois Lagadeuc driving for owner/trainer Simon Rousselle. Money Cash (2m Ready Cash-Don’t Explain-Prodigious) held third after setting the pace early for Yoann Lebourgeois and breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire.
