After a hectic Cup week in Christchurch, Oamaru horseman Matty Williamson will be looking for a more relaxed day at the Winton Harness Racing Club meeting at the Central Southland Raceway tomorrow.
Williamson lines up four runners on the eight race card kicking off with Happy Hill (What The Hill) in Race Two. The three year old gelding is still mixing his gait but showed a glimpse of what he’s capable of on this course two starts ago, when he finished third.
Mind Philly’s (Art Major) form has tampered off lately however she gets a nice draw at one in Race Four.
In Race Five Williamson trains and drives She’s A Jewel (Sweet Lou) who returns to the racetrack after last racing in June. She hasn’t had any trials or workouts.
Williamson’s day is rounded out in Race Six with consistent trotting mare Jordan Anne (Pegasus Spur). She raced on Cup Day finishing second to Sunny Louie.
