The amazing stallion Art Major continues to raise the bar on his long , long list of achievements.

He has headed his competition on eight occasions to win the Australian 2 Year Old Sires Premiership.
On Saturday night at Albion Park he achieved something which almost certainly no other stallion in the 89 history of the Inter Dominions has ever come close to.
Art Major was either the Sire or Broodmare sire of the first five placegetters in the $1 million Pacers Final.
The winner and second placed horses , Leap To Fame and Speak The Truth , were both sired by Bettors Delight from Art Major mares as was the fifth placed Max Delight.
Then Art Major sired the third and fourth placed horses ;
Cya Art – a 7 year old gelding from a Fake Left mare
Don Hugo – a 5 year old rig from a Bettors Delight mare.
Bettors Delight did sire the quinella to the Final, but only one other Stallion has achieved this feat this Century [ a good trivia question ] and that was the former stable mate of Art Major’s in Shadow Play .
He sired I Cast No Shadow and Torrid Saint to run the quinella in 2022.
But back to Art Major – last season he became the first stallion in the history of Australian breeding to sire the winners of Australian bred progeny to exceed $100 million in earnings.
Also last season in Australia Art Major sired seven individual Group One winners , the equal most with his stable mate Always B Miki , to be the dominant stallions for the season.
These winners were Don Hugo , Soho Spectre , Major Hot , Rylee Rhayne Bow , Showsomejoy , Cyclone Jordy and Fox Dan.
In addition he also featured as the Broodmare Sire of the millionaire brothers Leap To Fame and Swayzee , the Victorian Derby winner Best Deal and the Australian 2 Year Old Colt of the Year Fate Awaits.
The records he sets are there for other stallions to admire and dream to achieve.
** Sire of 80 Group One winners in the Sth Hemisphere.
** Sire of 236 Stakes winners in the Sth Hemisphere.
** Sire of the fastest pacer ever bred in the Sth Hemisphere – Field Marshall 1.46.9.
** One of only two Pacers this Century to win back to back USTA Titles of 3 Year old Pacing Colt of the Year and Aged Pacing Horse of the Year.
When you look at the pedigree of Art Major , the only double crosses of blood in his first five generations are Albatross [ 3 X 4 ] and Adios [ 5 X 5 ]. This might seem like “ old fashioned “ bloodlines now , but they were both great and dominant Stallions.
The Service Fee for Art Major for this coming season remains at $14,000 including GST . Considering his amazing Siring record , this Fee is the most respectable of any Stallion available in the Southern Hemisphere.
