There is no question that the Canadian owned and trained champion Somebeachsomewhere has changed the direction of the Harness Racing world since he first set foot on a racetrack in mid 2007.

Somebeachsomewhere was a tall and powerful horse, sired by Mach Three from a Beach Towel mare.
In 2016 another tall and powerful son of Mach Three was born at Century Farms in Ontario, Canada and his granddam, Color Me Beachy, was by a son of Beach Towel in Jennas Beach Boy.
Named Century Farroh, he carries very similar bloodlines to the legendary Somebeachsomewhere.
There were even some similarities between the two horses in terms of their trainers. Both were trained by residents of Prince Edward Island in far east Canada – Brent McGrath trained Somebeachsomewhere, whilst Dr Ian Moore put the polish on Century Farroh from his Ontario base.
Century Farroh became a star on Ontario tracks as a 3-year-old in 2019, winning 12 of his 16 starts and was Voted the Canadian 3-year-old Pacing Colt of the Year.
He took on the best that North America could muster as a 4-year-old, culminating in a sweet victory in the 2020 Breeders Crown Final, defeating amongst others the $2 million earners Bettors Wish and This Is The Plan.
His stunning season earned him the title of Canadian Horse of the Year in 2020.
Century Farroh was retired to stud duties in Canada in 2022 after a racing career that earned his connections $1,557,000. Along that racing journey he boasted victories over Bettors Wish, Captain Crunch, Dancin Lou, Dorsoduro Hanover and several other millionaires.
Now Century Farroh has his first crop in Canada being trained to make their debuts as 2-year-olds in June. Doc Moore, who trained Century Farroh has two of his youngsters in training and was recently quoted as saying – “I wish I had a few more as the two I have are really impressive.”
The Mach three son shuttled to Llowalong Farms in Victoria for the 2022 breeding season and now foals from that first crop are making their way into Yearling Sales around the Country.
On Sunday at Morphettville Sales Complex, Century Farroh is represented with two lots.
