It is just a standard harness racing meeting at Bathurst tonight but it could end up meaning so much more for local reinswoman Angela Hedges.
Having been one of the leading reinswomen in her region for a number of years, Hedges has driven 199 winners to date.
With just one win away from achieving a significant milestone, there is a possibility Hedges will achieve that tonight with three drives locked in.
All her drives are for her husband, trainer Nathan Hurst starting with his pacer Tulhurst Writer in race two.
The geldingās last victory was at Dubbo in August 2019 and Hedges was at the reins on that occasion.
Hedges will then drive Tulhurst Terror in race four, a pacer she won with three starts ago at Bathurst.
Hedgesā final drive of the night is behind Unreal Feeling in race seven. The gelding is resuming after having more than a year away from the racing scene.
