Jack’s back

Group 1 winning harness racing driver Jack Trainor will make a return to the driving ranks at Menangle tonight (Jun. 25).

Although Trainor’s name has appeared among trainers, the 28-year-old has not driven since June 14.

Returning from a holiday, Trainor has his work cut out for him tonight driving in most races on the metropolitan card.

This includes one of the fancies in the Group 3 Stylish Memphis Stakes.

Named in honour of the mare Trainor trains and has won two Ladyship Miles with, the horseman has in-form mares Town Echo (Art Major) and B K Swy (Big Jim) in the feature.

The favourite is Fairy Tinkabell with Yarraman Bella also in single-figure odds with Trainor’s two mares.
