After a successful stint in Queensland junior reinsman Bryse McElhinney has returned home and will compete at Newcastle on Monday.
The 22-year-old spent almost seven months in the Sunshine State driving eight winners in that time ā four times the amount of winners he has ever driven before.
These results have given McElhinney 10 winners to his credit this season.
McElhinney returned to the New South Wales driving ranks last Thursday week and has finished amongst the placings in his three drives back.
He has two drives today trainer Tiarn Sutton with Winamotza in race one and Gentle Giant in race six.
He will then back up to drive Suttonās trotter Mr Olympus in the opening event at Tabcorp Park Menangle tomorrow.
It will be a big week for both the Newcastle and Menangle tracks, each preparing for heats of the Inter Dominion that gets underway at Menangle this Saturday night.
Heats will then head to Bathurst before reaching Newcastle on December 5.
