A string of brilliant wins highlighted by a 1:57.6 front stepping display at Menangle recently has rocketed Fancy into contention as one of New South Walesā best young trotters for the current season.
The daughter of three-time Group 1 winning European star Quaker Jet has won six races this year including four in the space of just three weeks. The haul includes three successes at Menangle and the Peter Sullivan Memorial at Penrith from a 30 metre handicap.
Quaker Jet has sired 17 winners from 23 starters in Australia to date from a crop of 40 foals and they are averaging $28,076 per starter.
Quaker Jetās champion sire, Love You, was represented by a pair of winners in New Zealand this week in the three-year-old Love N The Port and Thank You. Love N The Port led for the last 1800 metres for a decisive victory at Addington on Cup Day, while Thank You overcame a 30 metre handicap to post his second success at Manawatu.
The French-bred stallion Used To Me continues to embellish his impressive siring score. My Used To Be, a three-year-old gelding, came off a 20 metre handicap to win by 24 metres at Globe Derby Park, while the three-year-old filly She Sailz posted win No. 4 at Ballarat.
The Best Madrik, a dual Group 1 winner and a son of Love Youās sire Coktail Jet, ranks as the sire of promising mare Right Moves, who hoisted a fresh mile record of 1:56.6 at Menangle on Tuesday (November 9).
