SUMMERSIDE, PE – The Brookdale contingent has been strong all season long and Brookdale Johnny (Rockin In Heaven) is selected to win the Tuesday evening harness racing feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

The Prince County half-miler has a 12-dash presentation starting at 6 P.M., Tuesday evening.

The $3,300 top class lines up in race 11 with Brookdale Johnny the morning line favourite from post 5. Paul Langille drives the Phil Sizer trainee for owners Doug Polley Sr., and Doug Polley Jr. The Polley family homebred has scored eight wins, five seconds and six thirds this season.

Howmac Charmer hails from the red-hot Kyle Williams barn with post 6. The Malicious gelding will be another top contender fresh off his 1:54.4 victory last week for driver David Dowling.

Also in the featured field is Coasttocoastshark (To be driven by Brady Sweet), Doc Awesome (Ryan Desroche), Howmac Maximus (Damian MacLellan) and Sauble Attack (Ken Murphy).

The Backstretch Beat goes with Brookdale Johnny on top.

“Brookdale Johnny just missed last time out and has been on top of his game since moving back East. If he doesn’t win he’ll be right in the mix to the finish.”

Majestic Mason (Sweet) is the top selection in the race 3 Leon James Stewart Memorial from the Rick Armstrong barn.

The John Stewart Memorial in race 4 will see Elm Grove Quest (Paul Langille) try to land on top from post 5 from the Allan Jones stable.

Almost Amos (MacLellan) gets the respect of the race secretary as the 5-2 morning line favourite in the race 5 Cecil James Stewart Memorial for trainer Dwane MacEachern.

Red Shores has launched another new on-track promotion with customers qualifying for a $500 Second Chance Draw when they sign the back of their un-cashed tickets. The Play $20 Get 20% off Bounce Back also continues. HPI-PEI earn Rewards when they play Summerside.
