E L Gladiator (Up The Credit) knocked 1 2/5 seconds off his personal best on Tuesday (Jun. 20) with a hard-fought harness racing win at Georgian Downs.

The four-year-old, driven by Jason Ryan, pulled out of third entering the backstretch and pulled abreast of leader The Golden Jet (Anthony Haughan) at three-quarters. They scrapped through the final turn and into the stretch, with E L Gladiator chiseling out a small advantage and getting home a half-length clear in 1:52.3. The Golden Jet was second. Gentleonmymind (Samuel Fillion) hustled late to take third.
