Tells On A Roll (Tellitlikeitis) has won four straight harness races and all have been in the Filly & Mare Preferred at Woodbine Mohawk Park. She added her latest victory on Friday (Mar. 15) night against a field of seven top-pacing mares.
Travis Cullen pushed Tells On A Roll straight to the front. The four-year-old mare opened the race with a 27.3 opening quarter. The Indiana-bred pacer continued pacing fractions of 56.3 and 1:24.4. Cullen and Tells On A Roll never faced any adversity and finished the mile in 1:51.4.
Western Wish (Tyler Jones) at 22-1 odds finished in second while the 30-1 Wildcat Star (Trevor Henry) rallied for third.
TELLS ON A ROLL REPLAY
Tells On A Roll is continuing her success after a huge three-year-old campaign. She won the Indiana Sired Stake Super Final at Hoosier Park and achieved her lifetime mark of 1:50. Her best mile time since was 1:51.1 which she did her last time out. Since moving to Ontario, Tells On A Roll has made seven appearances at Woodbine Mohawk Park and she has won four of them.
Travis Cullen earned only one win on the card while Jodie Cullen earned the win as trainer.
Classic Magic (Kadabra) earned her first win of the year in the fourth race. The five-year-old mare is under the supervision of Michelle Olson who subsequently also earned her first win of the year. Olson started training in 2016 and has earned 12 career wins in 87 starts. Her career best year was 2022 when she won nine races and had 17 top three finishes in 44 starts.
