Georgian Downs ended its harness racing season finale early after the judges declared a no contest due to unsafe track conditions that led to an incident with the starting gate.
On the wet track, the gate car appeared to lose traction and failed to accelerate away from the field. As it steered to the outside, it squeezed far outside starter Nates Bucky (Samuel Fillion) between it and the outer rail. The incident resolved without injury and the gate sped away.

Brett MacDonald won the meetās driving title with 37 wins. Jason Ryan finished second with 32. Jodie Cullen was the top trainer with 26 wins and a strike rate of 29.9 per cent.
