Battle Of York (2:03.2) was a front-end winner in race 3 for MacPherson and trainer Taylor Doyle while race 5 had a popular Blue Monk (2:01.4) give the driver his fourth win, this time for trainer Jay Noye. MacPherson and Holmes teamed up again in race 6 with Shadows Terror (2:01.1) then Sharky (2:00.4) was victorious in race 8 from the John McGuirk stable.
In other action, Brookdale Johnny came from the back to win the $3,400 featured pace in race 9 with Paul Langille at the lines in 1:59.1 for trainer Phil Sizer and owners Doug Polley Jr., and Doug Polley Sr., of Nova Scotia.
