A change in order of finish was needed in the fourth race at Western Fair Friday (Mar. 1) night after the favourite caused interference. The 4/5 betting favourite, Acefortyfour Jack took the early lead and paced a 29.1 first quarter. He went virtually untouched for the remainder of the race and won in 2:00. However, he briefly went off stride before hitting the stretch and he caused interference to Wheretobuddyboy (Lyonssomewhere). The judges placed Acefortyfour Jack second and gave the win to the 10-1 Wheretobuddyboy.
