Custards Dungeon (Custard The Dragon) ended his 29-start losing streak in a harness racing romp at Inverness Raceway on Wednesday (Jul. 19).
The stallion battled for the lead early, claiming command in a :31.1 first quarter and circling Jj Scarlet (Donald Gillis) to retake the front at the half in :59.2.
Zach Mullins kept Custards Dungeon in hand to three-quarters in 1:29.1 and unchained him heading toward the far turn. The horse motored well clear coming down the stretch and sailed to a five-and-a-half-length victory in 1:58.3.
Windemere Best Man (Rodney Gillis) was second-best. Jj Scarlett finished third.
