Calimero du Thiele wins Trophee Vert leg

The second leg of the 2022 Trophee Vert harness racing series was held at Ecommony, France on Sunday and was raced over 2700 meters distance handicap for a purse of 45,000€.

The 1.16.3kt timed victory on the turf went to the 25-meter handicapped Calimero du Thiele (10g Gogo-Reine du Rieu) reined by Pierre Levesque for trainer Matthieu Varin.

This was the winner’s 12 career score now for 266,060€ earned. He rallied late to defeat Farinelli Paulois (7g Royal Dream) and trainer/driver Sebastien Ernault. Feria d’Anama (7f Un Mec d’Heripre) captured third for Matthieu Abrivard and trainer Jerome Dubreil.
