Veteran Cash du Rib (12g Ready Cash-Quille Castelets) took today’s first leg of the Tour Europeen Trotteur Francais held at Mons Ghlin Belgium. The race was also named the Prix de l’Amitie Fraco Belgique (purse 25,000€, 2300 meters autostart) and Cash du Rib was timed in 1.13.5kr as the 3.9/1 odds second favorite. J.L.Cl. Dersoir teamed the winner for Ecurie Jelioca that Jean Loic Claude Dersoir trains. His earnings are now 865,425€.
Finishing second was 33/1 outsider Elite de Jiel (10f Niky-Quick Star de Jiel) with Franck Ouvrie piloting the Jean Luc Dersoir trainee with third to 2.1/1 odds favorite Gitano (8g Tucson-Que Doseille) reined by Clement Duvaldestin for trainer Thierry Duvaldstin. Cicero Noa (12g Mandarino Blue) was fourth at 66/1 followed by 26/1 Esteban Jiel (10g Coktail Jet); Goeland d’Haufor (8g Votigeur de Myrt) and 42/1 Ipalo (6m Django Riff) that latter with Jos Verbeeck at the lines.
