Condor Pasa Gar wins at Enghien

Condor Pass Gar (5m Readly Express-Lorin) took Enghien’s Prix Quick Williams (purse 46,000€, 2150 meters autostart for European 5–6-year-olds) this day, March 10. Timed in 1.12.9kr the Matthieu Abrivard driven and trained trotteur won his second race in France from eight starts, advancing his career earnings to 75,920€ for owner Horse Club Montegiorgio.

The winner advanced from 10th at the 1300 meter mark and eventually scored by three-quarters of a length at 2.6/1 odds. Carlotante Font (5m Django Rif) held second at 21/1 with Jap Van Rjim teaming for trainer/owner Jeroen Engwerda. The 27/1 outsider Christopher Bar (5g Moses Rob) was third for Francois Lagadeuc and trainer Matthieu Abrivard.

The same day at Cagnes sur Mer saw 1.7/1 Kerozen (3g Express Jet-Quest For Love) take the Prix de Vichy (purse 52,000€, LeTrot Open des Regions for three year olds, 2925 meters) timed in 1.16.1kr. Mickael Cormy trains and reined this winner for Ecurie du Vieux Chene as he won for the third time in his young career.

Khara Dry (3f Fabulous Wood) was second at 5.9/1 odds with Guillaume Martin at the lines for trainer Nicolas Ensch. Kelly Charu Era (3f Charly du Noyer) took third at 26/1 with J.Ch. Feron aboard.

Sunday at CSM is the Gr. I Grand Criterium de Vitesse de la Cote d’Azur with a field of 11 evenly matched contestants as listed below in post-position order.
