On May 14 at Rambouillet was the Trophee Vert series’ Prix Ile-de-France Nature (fourth leg of series, purse 50,000€, 2800 meters for 6-10 year olds). The 42/1 odds Histoire Moderne (6f Prodigious-Tender Night) scored for trainer/driver Philippe Moulin and owner Ecurie Victoria Dreams, recording his ninth career victory for 176,420€ earned. Fiesta de Froulay (8f Gazouillis) was second at 6.9/1 with Guillaume Martin the reinsman for owner/trainer Arnaud Desmottes. Third was 14/1 odds Galet Sted (7g Paris Haufor) handled by Chloe Sabin for trainer C.A. Mary.
Vernissage Grif (9m Varenne-Dalia Grif), trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro, was invited to the May 28 Elitloppet and became the 12th of the 16 expected starters to the Elite Race.
