Jericho takes out Prix Aludra at Vincennes

Prix Aludra (purse 46,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 10 starters all five year olds) at Paris-Vincennes saw 3.4/1 odds Jericho (5g Bold Eagle-Absinthe-Quatre Juillet) rally to the 1.12.0kr timed harness racing victory with Eric Raffin driving.

This was his fifth career victory in 23 starts for owner/trainer Yannick Desmet. Etienne Dubois bred the winner that defeated 56/1 outsider Jerzino Vici (5g Brutus de Bailly-Mona Vici-Goetmals Wood) that one reined by Alexis Collette for conditioner Frederic Ledoux.

Third was 29/1 Jour de Gkoire (5m Brillantissime) with Franck Nivard up.

The 2.6/1 Jagerbomb finished fifth.

Philippe Allaire bred, owns and trains the winner that now has three career victories in five appearances.

The 62/1 Libre Penseur (3g Uzo Josselyn-Austine des Onides) was second with trainer Thibaut Barassin aboard for owner Johann Loutreuil.

Loic Baron (3m Voeland-Vero de Line) was third at 10/1 odds with Christophe Martens up for trainer Stefan Steven for Eddy Van Den Steen.
