Lord Delo best at Vincennes

The featured Prix d’Avignon (Gr. III, purse 80,000€, 2850 meters, 11 four year old starters) went to 1.7/1 odds Lord Delo (4g Face Time Bourbon-Reverie d’Ar) driven by Jean Michel Bazire for trainer Nicolas Bazire and Yannick Desmet yesterday at Vincennes.

Timed in 1.13.7kr the five time winner in 12 starts has earned 131,060€. Lizzano d’Alouette (4m Un Amount d’Haufor) was second at 8.4/1 driven by Gabriele Gelormini for Alain Chavatte the trainer and owner. La Vie A Deux (4f  Ready Cash-Encore A Deux) landed third with Anthony Barrier driving the Fabrice Souloy trainee that Jean Pierre Dubois owns.

The Prix d’Ecouche (purse 35,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 four year olds) on the undercard at Vincennes saw the 1.2/1 odds Lolita (4f Ready Cash-Grenadine-Look de Star) hold gamely to win the Prix d’Ecouche (purse 35,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters age four) timed in 1.13.3kr. This Yoann Lebourgeois driven mare now has three wins in five starts for 32,625€. She has won three straight for trainer Dominik Locqueneux and owner Ottavia Roffi-Urano.

The 13/1 Lovely Jenilou (4f Roc Meslois) was a closing close second with Anthony Barroer driving for trainer Gregory Thorel, with 4/1 Lotta Rosie (4f Very Nice Marceaux) third reined by Mathieu Mottier for trainer Christophe Flirden.

In the Prix de Laval (purse 62,000€, 2700 meters, 12 five year old starters) the 1.7/1 odds favorite Karma Power (5f Village Mystic-Divine Creature) scored in 1.14.1kr for her 10th career victory in only 14 starts. Eric Raffin teamed this 173,450€ career earner for owner Joel Seche and trainer William Bigeon.

Kalmia Perrine (5f Django Riff-Unabella Perrine) was second at 5.7/1 odds  for the Theo Duvaldestin reined, Thierry Duvaldestin trained and Courant AB owned mare. Kobayashi (5m Face Time Bourbon-Come On Jet-Goetmals Wood) was third at 39/1 with David Thomain driving the Ecurie Hunter Valley owned and Bastien Michardiere trained well-bred mare.

And finally,  the Prix Andre Louis Dreux (purse 53,000€, 2850 meters, 11 European six year old mares) saw 3.8/1 odds Picture Perfect (6f Quick Wood-Falls River) hold off a pack of rivals to score in 1.15.0kr with Gabriele Gelormini driving. This Celestine Corty trainee now has two wins in six starts in France for Union Stable and her career earnings advanced to 125,401€.

The 12/1 Joma OV  (6f Boccador de Simm-Rama Bourbon-Kaisy  Dream) was second for Sebastien Houyvet the trainer/driver/owner and 19/1 Dada del Ronco (6f Lorenz del Ronco-Paula del Ronco-Prodigious) was third driven by Francois Lagadeuc, trainer H.E. Bondo and  Scuderia Muracone. The 2.5/1 Diabel (6f Nad Al Sheba-Priscilla ZAK-Varenne) was fourth for Eric Raffin and trainer Bondo with fifth to 7.1/1 Look  Of Love (6f Ready Cash-Le Reve-Fill V-Catch Fortuna) trainer by Corty for Union Stable and driven by Jules Van den Putte Jr.
