Solvalla hosts Svenskt Kriterium and Oaks

Francesco Zet (3m Father Patrick-Shaqline-Credit Winner) impressively took today’s Sveskt Trav-Kriterium (2,000,000SEK first money, Gr I National, 2640 meters autostart) clocked in 1.12.7kr.

This 2.2/1 odds winner was piloted by Orjan Kihlstrom for trainer Daniel Reden for Stall Zet. This was his sixth win in seven 2021 and career starts now for 2,875.,000SEK earned. The dam Shaqline is from Vivica Hall, also dam of Velocity Hall and Shaw Is Back, both important stakes winners.

Global Cashflow (3m Ready Cash-Stylish Hanover-Yankee Glide) was second with Ulf Ohlsson up for trainer Peter Untersteiner. Third was Mellby Jinx (3g Ready Cash-Heaven’s Door-Muscle Hill) for Erik Adielsson and trainer Svante Bath. This dam Heaven’s Door is a daughter of Muscle Hill-Girlie Tough-Conway Hall, she a winner of 2,284,621SEK.

Kara Boko and driver Mika Forss

In the Svenskt Trav-Oaks (purse 1,400,000SEK, Gr. I National, 2140 meters autostart) the 6.9/1 odds Kara Boko (3f Djali Boko-Pecadille Face-Muscle Hill) was a 1.12.1kr timed winner with Mika Forss up for trainer Timo Nurmos. She won her fifth in 2021 from nine starts and seventh in her 11 race career, now for life earnings of 1,825,117SEK.

Bright Crystal (3f Readly Express-Mistresswithmuscle-Muscle Hill) was second for trainer/driver Bjorn Goop. Third home was Kashmir River (3f Django Riff-Divine River-Dream Vacation) handled by Petter Lundberg.

On the undervard the STL Diamanstoet Final (purse 220,000SEK, 2140 meters voltstart) saw Rarity AF (4f Maharajah-Fantine Boko-Taurus Dream) score in 1.13.8kr at 7.9/1 odds for Orjan Kihlstrom. She defeated Bowling El Mar (6f Orlando Vici) and Saga Doc (8f Zerberus).
