20-meter handicap can’t stop Zona

Racing resumed Saturday (Feb. 4) at Kincsem Park in Budapest, Hungary with the featured Evnyito DIJ (purse 700,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap) taken by 4.8/1 Zona (8f Offenbach Bigi-Kama-Valley Guardian).

This Emese Vezer handled Emil Cs20-meterordas trainee overcame a 20-meter handicap for this 1.18.4lr timed victory.

Zante Font (6f Quaker Jet-Life Together-Uronometro) was second overcoming a 40-meter handicap with Gyrogy Horvath driving for trainer Goran Zolnaji.

Driver Gyorgy Horvath posted two wins and two seconds on the card. He won with In Love Danover (5m Univers Love) and Velence R (9f Explot Caf), both trained by Balazs Juhasz.

The HU stakes schedule for 2023 was also released as shown below. The 109 th edition of the Derby is set for July 1.
