The In The Pocket horse Changeover, a former NZ 3YO of the Year and Aged Horse of the Year, produced two harness racing winners at Addington last weekend in the three-year-old Westar Molly and Jazelle.
Weststar Molly was particularly impressive, powering away to score by three lengths after racing in the open for the last round. It was her second success from only five starts.
Jazelle, a five-year-old mare, hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:55.7 over 1980 metres with the last 800 in 57.9 seconds. She has now won seven races and $62,125 in stakes.
The Changeover mare Changeup outstayed her rivals at Globe Derby Park in a 1:57.8 rate for 1800 metres, while the former En Zedder Slate won in 1:58.2 at Flamboro Downs, Canada.
Changeover, who stands at Burwood Stud near Brisbane, has sired the winners of $2.7 million worldwide in 2021.
