Down Under Winners with Carter Dalgety

Down Under pacer Jaffa Josh N kicked off his North American harness racing career in very fine style on Friday night. Racing at Harrahs Hoosier Park in Indiana, Watler Haynes Jr now prepares the gelding and had Kyle Wilfong in the bike for the event.

Starting from post position number one, the son of Auckland Reactor was handled patiently early by settle just off the pace. But soon came a sharp move to see the 7yo take front end control. Passing the half mile in 55.4, it seemed to be all over from there. Being let slide away from the field up the long Hoosier Park stretch, Jaffa Josh crossed the wire comfortably in a time of 1:50.4.

Being bred in New Zealand, he also started off his racing career there before being exported to Australia where he won all four of his races that he was competitive in. Now moving forward he entered the United States in June of this year and looks to have a positive racing career ahead of him.
