Down Under Winners from North America – 20th June

I’m Sir Blake (Alta Christiano) and The Pantheist (Bettor’s Delight), a pair of Australian bred pacers, took out both $27,000 harness racing features at Oak Grove Racing on Sunday (June 18). 

A gelding by Alta Christiano, I’m Sir Blake led for the last half-mile to score by three-quarters of a length in 1:51.4. He has now earned $US395,737. 

Meanwhile, The Pantheist (by Bettor’s Delight) took full advantage of a pocket trip to win effortlessly in 1:50.8. The mare boasts earnings of $US223,465. 

The Bettor’s Delight gelding Ilikemebettor notched his first win for the season when led from wire-to-wire in the $11,000 Open Handicap in 1:51.2 at Tioga Downs on Sunday.

Liberty Rose, a New Zealand bred daughter of Mach Three, overcame a wide barrier draw to lead most of the way in 1:54 in a $12,500 race at The Meadows on Wednesday (June 14). The win pushed her earnings to almost $290,000.
