Down Under Winners from North America – 21st February

Let It Ride, a New Zealand-bred son of Rock N Roll Heaven, made every post a winning one on his way to a 1:50.6 harness racing score in the $30,000 Open at Miami Valley Raceway on Monday (February 13).

The nine-year-old gelding has now won 42 races and $764,418 in earnings.

The Stunning Nun NZ sent her stake tally over the $200,000 plateau when she took out the $17,000 Fillies and Mares Open at Saratoga Raceway, New York on Tuesday (February 14) in 1:56.2. The seven-year-old Bettor’s Delight mare held off the late rally of Demeter NZ to score by a nose.

Meanwhile, the Rock N Roll Heaven gelding Rocknroll Runa put up the fastest mile of the season at Saratoga Raceway of 1:52 when he took out the $17,000 feature on Saturday night (February 18). He was one of four ‘down under’ bred winners on the 10-race card.
