Down Under Winners with Carter Dalgety

Champion down under pacer records 50th career harness racing victory. 

Sensation harness pacer Christen Me N amazingly won his 50th career race start on Wednesday at Miami Valley Raceway in Ohio. 

The now 13yo down under pacer saluted the winning judge in a time of 1:54.1 around the 5/8 mile (1000m) racetrack.

A man who recently acquired the horses ownership is down under driver Dexter Dunn. Dunn took ownership of Christen Me N when he was racing in New York and has since relocating him to friends Stacey Van Huizen and Brett Miillers farm in Ohio. The pair trained and drove Christen Me N to his 50th career victory. 

The son of Christen Cullen showed early speed from the five hole to find the lead and stay there throughout the journey. He then kicked clear in the stretch and held off challenges from all other race rivals.

This down under pacing superstar made a name for himself when racing in New Zealand and during his trips to Australia to compete in feature stakes races. Being trained by Cran Dalgety and driven by Dexter Dunn. 

Christen Me N has one of the most impressive CVs in Australasian racing history. Winning 11 Group 1s. Including winning the Miracle Mile, Auckland Cup, Hunter Cup, Victoria Cup, NZ Free For All, Easter Cup, Harness Jewels, Chariots Of Fire and many more. Along with being crowned New Zealand Horse of the year and Australasian Grand Circuit Pacer of the year. 

Astonishingly his career stake earnings is currently closing on the remarkable feat of $3 million.
