Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:46pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Ultimate Missile (6) Had a hard run in transit last start but up to beating most of these. Include
Flyin Tommy (7) Coming in fresh but raced some strong fields last campaign. Winning claims.
Bet West  (5) Was in good from before a short break. Not the worst in this field

Race 2

Con Grazia Love (5) Raced well against strong opposition last start. Hard to beat here
Trifolium (4) Likely to receive a good run from the draw. Can run top three with luck
A Trophy Wife (3) Good win last start and will be improved. Include here

Race 3

Jack The Builder (4) Impressive at trials and drawn to land handy to the speed. Hard to beat
Tugawar (7) Good beginner who should race handy. Tough run last start but stuck on. Needed
Sparkie (2) Conditions suit and drawn to lead or trail. Should go close to top three here

Race 4

One Thirtythree (7) Good second last start and should be improved here. Top selection
American Muscle (9) Tough run for third last start and only needs manners to figure here.
Safrakova (6) Tricky draw but racing well. Staying type who races best in front

Race 5

Themighty Miki (4) Nice second when fresh. One of the better chances from a nice draw.
Bettor Listen (9) Gets an inside draw to work with and will be running on. Can surprise
Blazing Louie (7) Good win last start but wide draw. Hard to beat if he can get handy early

Race 6

Double Delight (6) Classy trotting filly coming in fresh. Hard to beat with manners
Invictus (12) Conditions suit and small field helps. Handicap the only real concern.
Special Way (4) Out of form but would be dangerous if he managed to lead early. Needed

Race 7

Last Tango In Heaven (5) Drawn ok. Could give the backmarkers something to chase
Betterzippit (1) Could give some cheek from the stand 2200m. Place chance at longer odds
Raven Banner  (6) Good last start and normally a quick beginner. Can go close to top three

Race 8

Seve  (3) Big effort for second last start and should improve. Looks the winner in this field
Two Eye See (1) Drawn for a nice run on the fence. Can run top three with a soft run
Miki Shan (4) Racing ok and likely to head forward. Place claims best in this

Race 9

Emily Bay (3) Ran a good third last start. Manners a concern but has winning claims
Aldebaran Pippi (6) Big run last start and likely improver. Needs to step but can win
Quik Sharnie (7) Has been racing well in similar fields. Can surprise with a quick beginning
