Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 2:43pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Faith In Manchester (1) Trials have been good but breaking on race day. Looks the winner with no mistakes
Kimkar Dash (5) Good draw and a bit of a reputation. Top driver booked and has winning claims Needed
Itaintnecessarilyso (6) Better last start and manners the only concern here. Top three chance for sure

Race 2

Gladys Greenland (2) Likely to head forward to take advantage early. Top selection
Hail Lucius (3) Has good ability and drawn well here. Can run top three in this
Frankie Major (6) Racing in good form and should go a strong race again here. Needed in this

Race 3

Shesgold (2) Manners the key at the start. Good last time here land can win with no mistakes
Romeo Foxtrot (3) Always thereabouts and tidy draw. Will not be far away from the placings
Dhoni Trouble (6) Strikes a wide draw but on his winning form looks a solid chance again

Race 4

Throwyaarmsaroundme (2) Racing in good form last campaign and should go a strong race
My Copy (5) Has not had all the luck but  has the ability to win with a soft run in transit
Obadiah Dragon (6) Up in class for this. Wide draw but can improve further. Include here

Race 5

Noble Count  (9) On his recent form looks a solid winning chance. Good winning claims
It Ain’t Me Babe (6) Racing well in similar fields. Has to be respected in this field from the draw
Make Things Happen (5) Needs to get around with no mistakes to be a chance.Could surprise
 

Race 6

Magic Four (7) Very unlucky last start. Looks one of the better chances in this field
Simply Sam (5) Needs to go forward early to be a chance. Has to be included here
Lady Of The Light (3) Could be the early leader here and could stick on for a place 

Race 7

American Muscle (5) Good win last start and looks a major player in this. Top selection
Kiss And Run (2) Tidy second last start and should improve. Good winning chance
Bangkok Betty (4) Due to strike form again. Can run top three here at nice odds

Race 8

In Excess (2) Draw gives him options and looks very hard to beat here. Top selection
Major Jay (5) Top driver booked and winning claims here with a better run in transit
Perun (1) Good third on debut. Chance if he gets a run in the trail. Can run top three
