Harness racing hits Winton again today with twelve races on the card. The racing starts at 12:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Ukraine (4) Has looked good at Canterbury trials. Hard to beat on debut. Needed
Duchess Of Kent (1) Well bred and showed enough at trials to be a threat here. Include
Music Mistress  (2) Another Canterbury raider who has performed well at trials.

Race 2

Styrax (7) Manners need but has the speed. Looks an each way chance in today’s race
Our Superfund (5) Good run on debut and had excuses last start. Chance with no mistakes
Dignify (4) Has been better at recent races. Has winning claims in this with luck

Race 3

Scott (6) Running on late last start and will be improved. Has to be respected
Frankie (11) Manners still a bit iffy. Can run top three with a good run in transit
Kashi  (14) Tricky draw but will be running on here. Not the worst at longer odds

Race 4

Olives Dream (12) Freshened for this and has speed. Will be ready and can go
Nek Delight (1) Drawn much better and due to strike form. Should be there abouts
Warrior Easton (9) Draw could work out ok. Stronger field here but not the worst in this

Race 5

Switch On (5) Drawn ok and has beaten most of these before. Top three chance
Night Watch (2) Has early speed and drawn to be competitive. Likely leader with claims
Blithe (3) Better draw and no doubting ability. Winning claims with a good trip

Race 6

Built For Glory (6) Caught the eye flashing home last start. One of the better chances
Miraculous (8) Unbeaten and has a big reputation. Will need luck but can win again
Song Sung Blue (7) Smaller field will help and has winning form. Good chance again

Race 7

Zamperini (3) Better draw and running on well fresh up. Should be a good chance in this
B K Windermere (8) Best runs have been from the front but tricky draw. Could surprise
Vanessa Marie (5) Flashed home late last start. Freshened and one of the better chances

Race 8

Sinai Sermon (10) This looks a drop in class for him. Needs luck but has winning claims
Tartan Raider (5) In good form. This is harder but top three hope with natural improvement
Jenny Gump (2) Good beginner who might lead early. Top three chance with a trail

Race 9

All You Need Is Me (6) Unbeaten and well bred. Harder here but top selection in this
Ruby Roe (5) Races well on the track and freshened. Should run top three here
Flying Ellie (7) Getting better with racing and if the pace is on is a winning chance

Race 10

Deceptive Lee (4) Conditions suit and should give a good account here. Needed
Sand Wave (8) Tricky handicap but has the best credentials. Still a good chance
Tact McLeod (7) Getting better with racing and top driver booked. Needed here

Race 11

Beach Flybye (4) Track should suit and look for improvement. Can go close here
Teddy Baker (10) Good winning form but coming in fresh. Will stick on ok here
Bobbies Rock (2) Will get a soft run from the draw here. Can run top three with luck

Race 12

American Mac (1) Drawn to suit and at his best would be a big chance. Include
Magnetic Beckers (12) Better than the form suggests. Will need luck but has claims
Falcons Watch (3) Good on grass last start. Not the worst in this if he can lead early
