Harness racing hits Winton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 11:45am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Abacardi Hazel (5) In good form and gear change might add a few lengths. Needed here
Joy Jaccka (4) Has the motor and only needs manners to feature strongly here. Include
Janaka’s Delight (1) Small field will help and another who can run top three with a safe beginning

Race 2

Mydadtheterror (1) Good second last start and top driver booked. Big chance from the draw
James Cagney (7) Canterbury horses usually do well here. One of the better chances in this field
Oneloveonelife (8) Draw not great but has form and field not overly strong. Good place chance

Race 3

Eyre I Will (3) Has been racing better fields without luck. Goes close with no mistakes
Our Evie Rae (5) Tidy run for second on debut. Natural improvement will take her close
Ah Dinnae Ken (9) Better last start and should improve further. Draw hurts but can place

Race 4

Goma Dale (2) On debut from strike rate stable. Has to be hard to beat with top driver booked
Naledi (6) One paced but weaker field here. Top three player if the speed is on throughout
Tact Ronin (4) Trialing well and conditions suit. Can run top three with a good run in transit

Race 5

Gronkowski (2) Gate speed and has good form from bad draws. Good winning chance
Cast A Shadow (3) Good run last start and this field looks weaker. Will be running on late here
Jordy (13) Change of stable will add interest. Terrible draw but not the worst in this field

Race 6

Sweet Southern Lass (1) Top driver booked and drawn to race handy. Big chance here
Flying Bird (11) Downgrade in draws but racing in good form. Chance with a cart into it
Judaque (10) No form but has been unlucky in previous races. One for longer odds

Race 7

Tara Victory (1) Nice draw and can handle the rise in class. Should be thereabouts in this
Tartan Raider (3) Has been freshened. Can run top three if back to full fitness here
Morries Girl (13) Drawn badly but has speed. Could run top three with luck in running

Race 8

Winning Bones (8) Good stand start manners. Field is not that strong and has claims
Miss Jessica (5) Should lead at some stage. Her toughness makes her a threat in this
Willangus Lad (6) Manners have been letting him down. Place chance if he trots all the way

Race 9

Monaco Grace (8) Drawn wide but looks one of the better chances with a good run in transit.
Captain Starlight (6) Good beginner who should race handy over the shorter trip. Needed
Superfast (4) Has raced well over the shorter distances in the past. Could surprise in this

Race 10

Step It Up A Notch (5) Going for two in a row. Loves the bigger tracks and good winning chance
Nutcracker (6) Better draw for this and has good form. Win chance if she goes forward early
Brookies Player (2) In top form and drawn the front. Can run top three again with luck
