Harness racing hits Winton again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Swift Dream(6) Getting better with racing and tidy third last start. Needed here
Rewiri Hill (9) Looks to have come back in good order but manners still the key. Include
Dels’ Creation (8) Iffy at the start but has speed. Could surprise if she steps cleanly

Race 2

Frisky Styx (5) Drawn well and has been impressive at workouts. Hard to beat in this
Classic Mission (3) Could get a cosy run near the lead. Can threaten the favourite
Tact Ronin (10) Good run last start after breaking early. Has ability and can run top three

Race 3

Hunting Weight (2) Racing well in a similar grade. Winning claims from the good draw
Judaque (10) Top driver booked and runs have been better last couple. Should be thereabouts
Donald Trot (4) Runs the odd tidy race and freshened. One for longer odds in this field

Race 4

Ruby Seddon (10) Big motor and good second last start. Needs to step cleanly but can win
Galleons Future (6) Good beginner who is in form. Will race handy and can run top three
Abacardi Hazel (5) Had excuses last start and top driver sticks with. Go again here

Race 5

Gronkowski (2) Racing well and should be handy early. Good chance with the right trip
Mamma Mia (7) Drawn wide but does have a ton of speed. Can get into the placings
Tashs Bad Girl (3) Big finish last start and drawn handy. Not the worst on latest efforts

Race 6

Ellz Angel (1) Running on well last start and better draw. Top selection in this field
Superfast (5) Conditions suit and she has been racing more attractively. Needed
Cast A Shadow (8) Wide draw but will be finishing on. Top three chance with luck

Race 7

Willangus Lad (6) Too good last start and up to beating this field. Good winning chance
Tweedledee (9) Tricky handicap but due to show some form. Big track will suit him here
Dont Ask (3) Has been racing ok in similar fields. Needs luck but can run top three

Race 8

Step It Up A Notch (8) Draw hurts but has been good in similar fields of late. Can win again
With A Bang (7) Has been racing better fields and going well. Good top three chance here
Mach’s Back (9) Top driver booked and on his day would go close. Has claims if back to his best

Race 9

Magnetic Beckers (1) Big upgrade in draws and due a change of luck. Good winning chance
Rakadan (3) Tidy after working hard last start. Might go forward here and has claims
Goma Dale (10) Good debut win last start but up in grade. Not the worst at good odds
