Harness racing hits Winton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 11:52am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R4   Coaster

Best Value:  R9   Wattlebank Arnie

Race 1

Mach’s Back (9) Big drop in grade for this. If anywhere near his best would go close here
Hazer (8) Freshened and another who has raced better fields in the past. Winning claims
Chezz Dale (4) Was a bit unlucky last start. Looks one of the better chances in this field

Race 2

Swift Dream (6) Racing better than the form suggests. Winning claims in this field
Fearless (9) Tricky handicap but definitely has the motor. Big threat in this field
Rewiri Hill (2) Manners the key but he does have ability. Good chance with no mistakes

Race 3

Hunting Weight (2) Previous form excellent. Up to winning this from the draw. Needed
Misskcmack (6) Gear change for this and due to strike some form. One for longer odds
Prides Contessa (12) Tricky draw but in good form. Can run a place again in this. Include

Race 4

Coaster (10) Will carry tote support based on trials. Looks very hard to beat here. Top selection
Vinchetto (9) Racing well and good beginner. Main danger to the favourite in this.
Tact Ronin (4) Previous form only fair but will be running on here. Top three chance

Race 5

Abacardi Hazel (8) Will be fitter for this after her good win last start. Can go on with it
Dem Bones Dem Bones (5) Battled ok last start and big track suits. Manners iffy but can place
Galleons Future (4) Good second last start and normally steps ok. Place claims again here

Race 6

Gronkowski (5) Normally a good beginner and very consistent. Top three looks likely again
I’m Watching You (7) Wide draw hurts but will be running on. Could surprise with the right trip
Tashs Bad Girl (3) Tidy draw and always gives her best. Should run close to top three.

Race 7

Tartan Raider (3) Much better draw to contend with here. Good chance with any luck
Cast A Shadow (12) Tricky draw but conditions suit. Could surprise with a good run in transit.
Timbimboo (7) Tricky draw but due to strike form. Will be running on at the finish. Needed

Race 8

Winning Bones (2) Normally a good beginner and will race handy. Looks a good place chance
Majestic Love (12) Has speed and only need a good cart into the race to be a major threat.
Miss Jessica (9) Expected to race near the front and has claims if left alone in the lead. Include

Race 9

Wattlebank Arnie (12) Has been unlucky the last couple. Terrible draw but not the worst.
Durrant (10) Keeps stepping up and draw could suit his style. No surprise to see him in the finish
Arnies Army (4) Much better draw and racing well. One of the better chances in this field.

Race 10

Brookies Player (13) Tricky draw but can not ignore the form. Can do some work and stick on.
With A Bang (11) Has the ability to match it with these. Needs the right run but can surprise
Mighty Reactor (5) Quick beginner who can run time. Could surprise if he leads early.
