Harness racing hits Winton again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 12:52pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   Tilly Dunnage

Best Value:  R8   Tabasco

Race 1

Tilly Dunnage (5) Very good at trials and looks a big chance on debut. Top selection in this
No Perfect Princess (1) Has experience and has been freshened. Top three chance from the draw
Feta Go Fernco (7) Wide draw but has a decent motor. Should give a good account fresh

Race 2

Beaudiene Hunter (8) Just beaten in a stronger field last start. Stable respect and needed here
Foxing Easton (4) Well drawn and has the speed to be one of the better chances. Include
Muchacho (6) Trial winner who has winning claims on debut. Likely improver who can go close

Race 3

Blithe (8) Has placed in better fields and a good chance freshened up. Can win with top driver on
Living The Moment (7) Manners key here but in good form for this. Has to be included
Bill Bootit (6) Always running on in his races. Good chance in an even field. Can run top three

Race 4

Tua Lipa (9) Fence draw and she will stick on ok with a good trip. One of the better chances in this
Eternal Dream (6) Has been thereabouts in most of her runs and this looks easier. Needed
Bismarck Du Plessis (7) Driver/trainer combo hard to beat. Strong field but has winning claims

Race 5

Shepherds Delight (2) Fast beginner from a stand and the motor is there. Can win from the front
Step It Up A Notch (3) Has raced well against similar fields. Needs luck but should go close here
Smoke On The Water (6) Underrated pacer off a tricky handicap. Can run top three. Include

Race 6

Connie Jaccka (7) Last start third was good and stable has to be respected. Top three chance
Okiwi Bay (9) Wide draw and strong field but winning claims with a cart into it. Worth including
Livy Desma (1) Ideal draw for this. Top driver booked and not the worst with a good trip. Needed

Race 7

Andy Hall (8) Can run time and has beaten better fields in the past. Well suited here. Needed
Majestic Love (7) Freshened but has a big motor. Can run top three with a good run in transit
Joeking (5) Will need manners to show his best here but speed will take him close. Good at trials

Race 8

Tabasco (3) Ok run last start and weaker here. Win hope with luck in running. Might go forward
Franco Sailor (6) Good solid win at Oamaru and can go on with it. Top driver sticks with. Needed
Still Rockin (1) Better than the form suggests. Will hunt up early and will stick on well here
