Matt on home track for Forbury meeting

Oamaru harness racing trainer Matty Williamson will have home town advantage tomorrow when he lines up five runners at the Forbury Park Trotting Club meeting on the Oamaru all-weather track.

In Race One Terra Sancta (Sportswriter) has drawn barrier six in a small field. She was seen running on at Omakau and gets a good chance to clear maiden ranks over the sprint distance of 2000 metres.

Brooke Fodie commences her driving career in Race Three with the Williamson trained trotter Dem Bones Dem Bones (Monkey Bones).

In Race Five Matty has two trotters down to run. Majestix (Majestic Son) is better than her form suggests and will be looking to improve on her last start fifth.

Granny Rose (The Pres) who hasn’t won for over two years also runs in Race Five and will be handled by his trainer.

Matty’s day rounds out in Race Seven when Mighty Miki (Always B Miki) lines up. He draws the outside of the front row. He regards Might Miki as the stables best bet.
