Three good chances for Morrison at Waimate

Ashburton harness racing trainer John Morrison has three good chances at Sunday’s Waimate Trotting Club meeting at Oamaru on the grass.

Spectator (He’s Watching) gets the Ashburton stable underway in Race Four. The four year old mare is in good form and is capable on the grass and from the standing start.

Last start winner Smart I Am (American Ideal) has won his three races on the grass, two of which were from standing starts. On Sunday he’ll run off a ten metre handicap.

Jimmyray gets a front line draw in the Waimate Cup to be raced over 3000 metres. He brings good West Coast form to Oamaru and is adept to the grass track.
