Ashburton and Branxholme trainers Ben Waldron and Nathan Williamson are taking small numbers to the Oamaru meeting tomorrow.
Four year old mare Moa Mojito (Bacardi Lindy) is out of the four win Monkey Bones mare Moa Bones and from three starts has been unplaced. She starts in Race Three for Waldron and will need her best manners to get some of the money.
Williamson lines up debutant Ruby Roe (Captaintreacherous) in Race Four. She led and won her qualifying trial by one and a half lengths and is from a family thatās left a host of winners. The two year old filly draws handy at gate five.
Impressive last start winner Itoje (Betterthancheddar) will be handled by junior driver Ollie Kite in Race Six. Heās had three workouts since joining the Williamson barn and ran home late for second at the last one. He runs from the ten metre mark and will be having his first standing start.
Waldron starts eight year old Georgie Zukov (Auckland Reactor) in the same race. His last run at the races was in March and the six win pacer has had one trial at Orari in readiness for Thursdays run.
In Race Eight Waldron lines up Penny Weight (Prodigal Seelster). She also had her last start in March and has had two quiet trials to get her fit for her Oamaru assignment.
Waldron also lines up Franco Humble (Gold Ace) in Race Eight. He won at Methven three starts ago and finished sixth at his last start on this course in the middle of last month.
