It is a familiar sight at the top of the harness racing drivers premiership table after nearly a month in the new 2022 harness racing season.
Last years top harness racing driver Blair Orange has won 20 times so far this season and is already 6 wins clear of his closest rival John Dunn on 14 wins. It must be noted that Orange as a well travelled and sought after driver has had 113 drives already, 43 more than Dunn who has only had 70 at this early stage. Tony Herlihy is sitting in third place with 7 wins from only 15 drives giving him a healthy 0.5037 UDR.
Ben Hope has made a quick start in the harness racing Junior driving ranks with seven wins, leaping out to a four win margin over Carter Dalgety, Mark Hurrell and Gemma Thornley all sitting on three wins.
In the trainers premiership the race is a bit closer but also looking a bit like deja vu with Robert and Jenna Dunn tied at the top with Steve and Amanda Telfer on nine wins.Ā Robert Dunn won last years premiership with 124 wins.
