Season finale at Corbiewood Saturday

Coming up this Saturday (Oct. 16) is the final race day of the 2021 harness racing season at Corbiewood racetrack in Bannockburn, Stirling in Scotland.

First race post time is 2:00 pm. In addition to the race card there will be a bar, bookmaker, hot food and live entertainment after the races until late. Children under age 16 get in free.

On the racetrack odds are that leading driver Grant Cullen will take the Corbiewood driving title. He goes into the last race card of season with a six-win lead over James Haythornthwaite and brother Richard Haythornthwaite is seven wins behind Cullen.

The training title will go to a member of the Haythornthwaite Family, mom Teresa will win the title hands down.
